Dear Morganfriends - we wish you all a wonderful 2012. We are expecting 3 foals this year, first one to arrive in the beginning of May. Just one mare will be bred for next year.

All of the horses own pages are updated today, please have a look and enjoy our wonderful Morgans.

Looking forward to hear from you this year as well - via e-mail, phone, facebook or IRL. We are always interested in hearing and sharing news from other Morganowners.

As the babies grows we've been lazy updating their pages but you will find new pictures and information of all our three sold boys at their own pages under "Sold".

Well, it's been a while but as usual - that doesn't mean nothing happens here at the farm, we're just keeping busy renovating the stalls for winter and enjoying our wonderfuls horses that havemoved from the summer pastures into the winter pastures. We were fortunatue to be able to lend some very pretty pastures for our horses this summer and hope that we can use them next season as well as they fit perfect for our horses' needs.

All mares confirmed in foal at 90 days. We're excited about spring! Sharing some pictures below from the Swedish Nationals in August, we had 3 horses with us and 3 of our breedings also entered with great results.

And finally a picture from the pasture taken the other day.

Hagas Uplands Mary has arrived, she is a wonderful girl, very kind and gentle. All mares bred to Pharazon are confirmed in foal via ultra-sound and some days ago Penny was confirmed in foal to Tullesbo Black Montana. Monty is here for training and is also available to outside mares the last part of the season. We are now looking forward to the Morganriks which will be held in Vetlanda 4-7 August.

Mares are here for breeding, one of them was checked Sunday and confirmed in foal to Pharazon. We'll check 2 mares this week (one of them is Penny so fingers extra crossed..) and plan to bring our new mare Mary home this weekend. Pictures to follow. Here's one of William taken two days ago when his mom got to date Pharazon.

His testresults came in the other week, comfirming that he is indeed a smoky black, heterozygous for black which means that he will produce chestnut based foals as well.

He is here! Born at 3.50 am May 1st. We would like to introduce Escania's Vangelios, aka "William". We suspect he is a smoky black but DNA-sample will tell for sure.

Finally, spring is arriving! Today we let Pharazon take a bath because he was really dirty... As you can see yourself, the result was very good. He is a very lovely two-year-old with lots of movements but he is still growing a lot and it will take some time for him to fill out his body. Smokey is doing very well here, we are slowly introducing him under saddle and we have been in the arena near by a few times to do some free jumping. In a few weeks we're expecting Kitty's second baby, sire is Gradell's Vigilante. We're very eager to see the result of this cross and it's a keeper!

We are breeding three mares for 2012, one foal is already booked and one might be kept but the cross between Pharazon and Mary will be available no matter what.

All is well here at Escania Morgans. We've been busy and haven't really put some effort in updating the news on the English page last year. We promise to do better from now on.
